I will join your team one day each week to develop your grant strategy and ensure that the necessary processes are in place for enduring success.
In the short term, I will create project outlines for your priority initiatives and establish a pipeline of applications to prevent a revenue downturn from insufficient grant activity.
In the medium term, while maintaining the application pipeline, I will refine your grant strategy to enable more efficient and effective grant-seeking.
Together, we will develop five primary success factors.
Leadership: We will ensure buy-in at every level and collaboration among internal stakeholders.
Funding Priorities: We will prioritise your funding needs and finalise project templates and a key message document to streamline the application process.
Partners: We will identify funders aligned with your work.
Communication: We will share your story through robust applications and funding proposals to engage funders and inspire them to care as deeply as we do.
Sustainability: Effective processes, funding priorities, an application pipeline and donor stewardship will ensure lasting partnerships with funders and a sustainable grant program.
In the long term, I can either advise on the selection criteria for a new staff member and transition responsibilities to them or continue collaborating with you to implement the grant strategy, maintain the pipeline of applications, and further cultivate partnerships with funders.

$2,800 ex GST
20 hours, including 10 one-hour one-on-one sessions and availability for six months of phone advice. A customised program will be developed based on the needs of the mentee.

Templates and resources will be provided to ensure their ongoing success.

Project Outline Document Development
We will examine your priority projects to identify which will be best suited to funders. We will work with your program leads to develop project outline documents that capture relevant information to facilitate efficient grant seeking.
Grant and tender writing
Your project will be checked against the funder guidelines, and a gap analysis will be conducted against your available project/program information. The resultant application will be robust and will effectively align with the funders’ aims and mission. We will use data and emotion to highlight the need for your work, and we will show the outputs and the measurable outcomes you will achieve with realistic budgets.
Advice
Ongoing expert knowledge and guidance. Objective advice on project alignment to guidelines, recommendations for stakeholder management and donor stewardship.
